Consider This

If I were to ask you, "what do you know about American history and the founding fathers?"

What would be your response?

Would you recall that the revolutionary war started in 1776? Or perhaps that George Washington was the first president of the United States? Or perhaps you would remember that there were 13 colonies at the time of the revolution. Or perhaps you would recall that many of the founders were slave owners.

Why do the schools in this country teach us so little about those who founded this nation?
Why aren't we taught more about what they believed?
Why aren't we taught of the miracles that transpired during and after the revolutionary war?
Why don't we hear about the true stories of Washington humbly leading the revolution, only to turn down his own chance at tyrannical power?

There must be some reason that these things aren't focused upon more heavily. One can only wonder why.
